Sonia is a Clinical Psychologist registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI),
with 14 years of experience in clinical practice. Trained in evidence-based modalities such as
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based
Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Enhancement
Therapy (MET), and Relapse Prevention, she integrates scientific rigor with a compassionate
therapeutic presence.
At Jeevan Sankalp Rehabilitation Centre, she works with individuals navigating concerns related
to Addiction, Personality functioning, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, and Interpersonal difficulties.
Her approach goes beyond symptom management — focusing instead on uncovering the underlying
emotional and behavioural patterns that shape a person’s inner world.
She believes therapy is a collaborative process of rediscovery — a space to slow down, reflect,
and reconnect with one’s authentic self. Through gentle guidance and structured intervention,
she supports her clients in developing self-awareness, emotional balance, and meaningful,
sustainable change.
